How?
With your own customised Corporate True Type Font (TTF) package, you
and your colleagues can do all of the above and more.
E-Signature will discuss with you your communication needs. We will then create for you a font that contains your corporate logos that can be accessed from any Windows (), MAC, Linux or OS/2 based application by anyone in the organization. You will benefit from increased use of graphics and ensure that a consistent corporate image is projected by everyone.
Try it!
A sample signature/logo font can be downloaded to your system by
clicking on the download icon at left.
Install the font on two computers. Start an e-mail on one of the
computers and incorporate a graphic from the E-Signature Font. Send
the e-mail to the other computer. The recipient will have the same
graphic on screen as you did! Also have a look at the MS Word files
that create letterheads using the E-Signature logo. The two files will
print identical content but note the file sizes and see how much
smaller the one with the Logo Fonts is.
Advantages of having a Logo Font deployed across your enterprise
Logo Fonts use less disk space.
The average Logo Font requires a one-time use of roughly 5 KB of disk space (installed to the operating system) and then requires only 1 byte of memory every time the logo is accessed. Compare this to a "bitmap" image of your company logo which can consume anywhere from 50-200KB of your precious disk space. Imagine every employee in your company creating 5 letters per day. This works out to 1250 bitmaps per employee per year. If your logo is 50k, this means one employee is gobbling up 62.5Mb per year just for your logo. Multiply this by the number of employees you have, and you will quickly see that the cost of a Logo Font pales in comparison to new hard drives. You may link bitmap graphic files to documents in order to reduce storage requirement but you will deal with slower systems and file tracking complexity that it is difficult to manage with large numbers of linked files (especially over a network) and is also beyond the comprehension of some of your end users.Try our convenient calculator to see for yourself how much memory you can save by using a font instead of a bitmapped image. Input figures for the first four rows, then press the "calculate" button to get your results. This feature uses JavaScript and requires that you operate with at least a version 3.0 browser such as Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer. Windows CE browsers do not currently support JavaScript.
Logo Fonts are fast and easy to use.
It takes a few seconds to use a Logo Font. The procedures for a "bitmap" (scanned) image is far more complicated and you can not expect every employee to have the computer skills necessary to do this. First, they must hunt for the file, then copy it, then paste it into their application. All of this assumes they have the right import filters as well - another headache for the network manager.
Logo Fonts save bandwidth
The documents containing a Logo Font display and print faster than "bitmap" (scanned) files because they are smaller in size and there is no more need to get the computer to download graphic files. No more waiting endlessly for someone else's graphics rich file to come out of the printer either.
Logo Fonts are superior to bitmap graphic files.
Logo Fonts produce higher quality images than bitmap (scanned) graphic files especially on faxes and laser printers. Your Logo Font can be scaled to almost any size without loss in quality whereas bitmap graphics are limited to the imported resolution or smaller (you could go larger but image quality will drop even further). The resolution of a bitmap graphic file is generally kept to 300 dpi so that it does not consume excessive amounts of memory (yet still far more than a font graphic). Most applications will even support color; this means that your logo could be generated with up to either 16 or 256 colors (depending upon your system's palette)! If you download our sample font, you will see an example of a four color logo created using different characters in a font.
You can use your Logo Font in all Windows (), Mac, Linux and OS/2 applications.
No need to search for a file or start-up another Windows application. Your Logo Font is an integral part of your operating system which means that it is automatically available to all of your applications including: MS Word, MS Work, Corel WordPerfect, WinFax Pro, Excel, Lotus 1-2-3, Access and many more...
Compatible with all versions of Windows .
Buying a font for an older version of Windows? No need to worry - fonts are fully compatible. The ones created for Windows are identical in design. This situation is ideal for companies that run multiple platforms. We can even convert your signature fonts separately to run on MACs, Linux or OS/2!
