Mac Stuff...

This page has been created to provide a resource for our clients who use the Mac platform or for those PC based operators who need to share their fonts with Mac users.

The following files are available for download by clicking on the hyperlinked filename:

  • mmpc2mac.hqx (21kb) This file is used to convert PC fonts for use on a MAC. E-Signature currently uses a Windows based messaging system and for this reason we cannot send you a Mac file directly. We will send you a PC file for which a conversion needs to be done on your Mac's desktop using the mmpc2mac utility. To download this file, hold down the "apple" (option) key at the same time as you click the link. Choose the "save as" option and specify your desktop as the destination.

    After downloading, you should have an icon on your desktop that resembles the following:



    In the event the icon is greyed out, you need to "rebuild" your desktop so that your operating system recognizes the file. Do this by exiting all applications, shutting down your system, and holding the "apple" (option) key when restarting. Hold the "apple" (option) key until a dialog box appears confirming you wish to rebuild your desktop. The mmpc2mac icon should now appear as above.

    To convert the font file that was e-mailed to you (the one ending in .suit$), simply drag it over the mmpc2mac file and it will produce a .suit file. Place this new file in your System/fonts folder and you will be ready to use your new font.
